About the Douglas Food Service Department:
The Douglas Food Service Program offers healthy and well balanced breakfast and lunch meals. Each and every meal served adheres to strict USDA standards for nutrition, portion size, calories, and much more.

Breakfast and Lunch are served at each school daily. There are grab & go lunches available on early release days- call for more information 508-476-3332 x2253.

The Breakfast & Lunch Meal Fees for 2023-2024 have been waived for another school year. All students will have access to (1) breakfast and (1) lunch free of charge. Please note there is no charging allowed for items such as milk, snacks, or second meals. Please refer to the Meal Charging policy at the bottom of the page.

All families are encouraged to fill out a new application for free and reduced price meals each year. This application can be filled out and returned to the school office at any point during the school year. You may also mail it to:  Douglas Food Service Dept., 21 Davis Street , Douglas, MA 01516

Paying for school lunches has also never been easier. The Douglas Public Schools is pleased to work with myschoolbucks.com to offer parents/guardians a convenient and secure online prepayment service. Some benefits of this service are:

  • Prepay for meals online in any amount
  • View your child's account balance, and purchase history
  • Lunch lines move much quicker if students and staff aren't counting money, giving your child more time to eat and socialize with their friends

We look forward to serving lunch to your child in the cafeteria this school year. Our menus are posted on the school website monthly. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Raquel Hammond, Food Service Director, at: 508-476-3332 ext. 2253

or via email at: [email protected]
